Whadda Ya Know? Really.

Well… whadda you know?  Really. I’m serious. WHAT  DO  YOU  KNOW?

Chances are, you know that you shouldn’t hurt anyone, not to steal, and to be nice to children and old people. Yet, is that ALL you need to know?

The answer is… YES!

Historically, we’ve been told that the reason we didn’t get that job, or get into that school, or get that girl/boy we really wanted, was that we somehow didn’t measure up. That somehow, we fell short and deserved what we had… no more, no less.

I’m here today to proclaim (as much for myself as for anyone else) that…

I deserve everything everyone else deserves!

And it isn’t because I’m a socialist. (Don’t call me names!)  It’s because we all deserve the things that this beautiful sphere of water, dirt, minerals, and plants, provides… Clean water and food, luxurious shelter, and nice shoes. (Oh my… I LOVE SHOES!)

If you’re reading this from America, then you probably know that your air, water, and food are laden with toxic chemicals. I would give you links explaining all of this, yet, that isn’t my point.

My point is simple. What kind of world do you want to live in? And are you willing to become the kind of person who lives in that world?

or…

DO YOU WANT IT ALL DONE FOR YOU?

It’s kinda like this. If there was a hotel that held 300 million people and 1 million or so people decided to throw a party and the hotel got trashed in the process, who’s responsible for cleaning it up?

The 1 million that made the mess or the 299 million that stood by and watched?

If that 1 million just decided to check into another hotel and the 299 million could not afford to… Who’s responsible then?

So I ask…  What do you know about cleaning?  Cause things are dirty, there’s trash everywhere, and we already live in one the best hotels that has ever been built.

So… Whadda ya know? Where do you get your information from?  Does it even matter to you?  Cause we need you.  Yes, there are people that are more responsible than others, but unless you enjoy researching, finding facts, and actually proving that kind of thing, don’t worry about it. Chances are…Someone LOVES doing that and it will get done.

Are you good with cars? Numbers? Medicine? Plastic? History? Kids?  WHAT?

We need multiple around-the-clock crews. We need medical staff to help the injured (it was an AMAZING PARTY), technicians to rewire and rebuild stuff, engineers to shore up the foundation, and we need teachers to inform the people that didn’t even realize there was a party going on. (We call these people “Republicans”. HA! I’m totally kidding! The conservatives partied harder than anyone else. Couldn’t you hear them? They were the ones chanting laissez-faire! laissez-faire!)

All joking aside. There’s enough work for everyone. And the fun part is… all anyone has to do is DO WHAT THEY KNOW… DO WHAT THEY LOVE. Chances are someone will need it.

Yes we need to fix this place back up and make new rules about throwing parties, but all isn’t lost. God knows… I LOVE TO PARTY. We should not stop partying. Let’s just get the trash off the dancefloor and make the DJ stop playing that same damn song again and again…

“There’s not enough. You gotta work. You’ll be rich someday. You gotta work.”

I hate that song. It’s tired. And the beat is lousy. I’M ALREADY RICH! How can I not be rich when I live on a planet with abundant resources, namely… beautiful and talented neighbors?

“…we all know so much about so many different things, and knowledge is the key to comprehension. But what good does that knowledge of scattered little pieces from the unlimited cornucopia of fruit from the tree of knowledge do for us? How does this knowledge solve the problems that we all know this tree creates?”  – Clint Richardson (realitybloger.wordpress.com)

Making a mess just for the fun of it can be entertaining sometimes, but as a Republic, we are not children anymore and there’s simply no reason to keep allowing a small few to make a mess that we all have to live in.

So find out what you love and get to work… I mean play, I mean… There’s no difference anymore. Life is a party. Either dance, chat, make drinks and snacks, chaperone, or make music… or do whatever else it is that you like to do at parties.

Just don’t trash the place.
